Steamy, stripped-back and inescapably seductive.

Capturing the hot and heady mood of the jungle, Fever is the natural evolution of our Spring 21 collection. An irresistible cocktail of intense passion and flawless sophistication, it’s fuelled by clean lines, bold, deeply saturated shades and peppered with lush, tropical prints. These are powerful silhouettes for spirited escapes, daringly designed to reveal, conceal and make you look incredible whatever you need to get dressed for, summer after summer and all seasons in between.

Rat & Boa x

Where does the collection name come from?

The collection is shot against a backdrop of the Cerro Gordo jungle in Puerto Rico. Fever evokes a high-octane sex appeal, an exotic, hot, girl-in-the-jungle vibe. Fever gives you thrills.

How would you describe the collection?

It’s an eclectic mix of staple pieces for every occasion; a melting pot of everything you need for summer and beyond. We wanted to create classic yet statement - forever pieces that had the Rat & Boa DNA running through them, that work as a base that you can simply accessorise with to make an outfit.

What inspired the colours and prints?

We carried some of the bold floral prints from our first swimwear collection into styles such as the Sorella, Zeta, Maribella & the Fiametta blouse so that you can mix and match pieces across collections and double up on prints for the ultimate effect.

It is important for us to listen to our customers’ feedback and carry design elements through from collection to collection in new colours and prints. We’ve re-worked classic R&B shapes into a flattering, unique, green dip dye print in the Cypress Shirt & Skirt, and introduced the Alanis Wrap Dress in new colourways. Then we’ve added bold, hot, hi-colour pieces that have maximum impact but require minimal styling.

What are the new details and shapes that really stand out?

As with a lot of our collections, there’s a nod to the 70s threaded throughout; evident in the voluminous shapes of the trousers and sleeves on the Juliana Jumpsuit and Stefani Dress. The Stefani also has a new side rope detail, carried through in the Maribella floral mini dress - that you can use to adjust the length depending on how mini you want to go…

The use of a slinky, glove-like / skin hugging jersey is prevailant in the collection, with the Vittoria skirt being a stand out piece; a really sexy, 90s inspired slip skirt that’s a really dramatic moving piece and looks incredible worn with the matching Onyx top.

There are a few twin sets included in this collection, too, that can be styled together or worn as skin-baring separates paired with swim or your favourite vintage denim. We both like to style the pieces individually, creating looks that combine that hi-low mix.

Which are your favourite pieces and why?

V: The Onyx & Vittoria. It’s sexy and I like the fact it’s black so you can style it up numerous ways. I wear this look with statement earrings, a strappy heel and a contrasting clutch. It also looks really striking worn with a flat sandal if worn through the day.
S: The Fabiana. I really love how this frilly leopard number can be styled numerous ways and taken to numerous places. Worn open or closed, it's a forever wardrobe staple that is all things glamorous, sexy, bold and fun.

Simple and streamlined with a Rat & Boa spin. Classic pieces that you can just add jewellery to to make an outfit and that you’ll want to wear time after time.
